Our Objectives...

Our main objective is to provide a faster QoS to users with a higher privilege level. This is achieved via queuing and labeling the packets differently to ensure differential treatment. This improves the throughput for those users and minimizes delays.

Primary Objective :

Auxiliary Objective :

To ensure the QoS model runs on multiple network topologies of different sizes. These topologies will be created and tested over the GENI platform.

What is User privilege based QoS?

A network as shown about can be made to behave differently to traffic from different users, depending on their priority. To offer a better grade of service to the users who request for it is the basic idea of the project. Users who are allowed to make such requests are termed as privileged users.
